So today I would like to show you the dress I wore for my birthday last month. I was lucky enough to received a dress from Guess Los Angeles. I love Guess and it’s a brand that actually holds sentimental value to me because I received my first “proper” handbag from Guess. The look I went for with this floral, silk dress was very ladylike. I went for tea with my mom and sister and ate macaroons that day so I think the dress suited the occasion perfectly. I think dresses like these are brilliant, because they are very light for summer and are quite fun.
Today’s post is a long one so I think you should come prepared with a nice big cuppa tea and snack in hand. Today I would like to take a walk down memory lane and look at all the fashion looks I have chosen on my birthday, as it’s my birthday week this week(I turned 23 on Thursday). I have always loved fashion but it feels like I always put a bit more effort into my attire on my special day, and why not hey?! Continue reading
I celebrated my 22nd Birthday on Wednesday of this week, the 14th of May. I decided to try something new with my hair and wear some bright pink lipstick. The dress is a bargain find from the clothing section in Carrefour. What I like most about the look is that it’s so me. I love wearing strapless maxi dresses especially when the weather begins to get on the warmer side. I think there is something so simple and elegant about it. I also realise that I’m not wearing shoes in this post, and I hadn’t put on my earrings yet either! Shock horror, but I really enjoyed having a chill day at home doing my hair and spending a little extra time me time (My mom even cleaned up my eyebrows), so I don’t really mind that I don’t look perfect.
What I wore:
Watch: Michael Kors (birthday gift to myself!)
Lipstick/lipgloss: Rimmel Apocalips in 102 Nova
Foundation: MAC Studio Fix in NW35
Blush: MAC Sheertone Shimmer Blush in Sweet as Cocoa

Happy Birthday to a Hollywood star, a style icon, a humanitarian, a mother, an actress and a beautiful soul.
She lived an amazing life and made such a huge impact on the world of acting and fashion during her time on earth.
Today in celebration, I will be watching Sabrina one of my favourite Audrey Hepburn movies.
RIP and Happy Birthday
Audrey, with her fawn Pippin
