Hello! It’s me, Miss Easy Elegance

Hey everyone!

I hope you are all doing well! I’m super happy to be writing this post because I feel like it’s a good time to re establish my goals as a blogger and to share who I am and why I am here. This week was the two year anniversary of my blog and it comes at a pretty awesome time in my life, I’m finally studying my dream course, I’m more confident than I’ve been in years and I’m chasing dreams that I have put off forever. For those of you who don’t know me and are interested in finding out about my blog this is the post for you.

Firstly, you may be asking yourself why on earth did I decide to start a blog and publish my thoughts on the internet? Wouldn’t it be easier to simply write in a diary or journal instead? Β I actually had a diary for years while growing up and I used to write stories and somehow found a way to put my ideas on paper. However, at some point having a journal/diary just wasn’t enough for me, I always loved the internet and loved the idea of bloggers and I eventually started my own blog because I so badly wanted to be like these bloggers I looked up to. My first blog had like 5 posts, it didn’t last long but I enjoyed it and about two years ago I decided that I needed to start a blog again. I’ve just always been fascinated by fashion. Fashion bloggers became my obsession for the longest time, but I always felt like an outsider looking in. I wanted to immerse myself in the world of fashion and lifestyle blogging. I spent hours on end researching “how to start a blog”. I researched what equipment you need and which blogging websites are best and eventually I created Miss Easy Elegance, this very blog.

What is Miss Easy Elegance about?Β Miss Easy Elegance started out as my special safe haven to post all the things I’m interested in from motivational quotes, to fashion inspiration, to make-up looks. I was quite frankly all over the place. I knew I wanted to inspire and I knew I wanted to share. Two years on and my aim is pretty similar, inspire and share, however this time I want to focus on the woman I want to be (a fashionista! haha!). I feel like this is integral to my blog whether that be in me sharing styling tips, or my everyday make-up routine, I want to make sure I share only positive things that build up the woman I want to be. I’m most likely going to stick to sharing fashion and beauty on this blog because I simply LOVE fashion and I’m also studying it. However, I want to make sure that I never post anything on my blog that I’m not proud of, everything needs to be at the best standard, because I want to be a woman of high standards.

Who does Miss Easy Elegance want to reach?Β I hope to reach and inspire as many young girls or woman as possible. I want to spread positivity and love and make connections with real people, because I’m a real person (no fake people allowed here haha)

What do I hope to accomplish in my next year of blogging? I hope to become a consistent blogger, with around 52 posts for the year. My dream is to have a blog where I share my personal style. It’s so important to me because I’ve been loving fashion bloggers for around 6 years now and I’ve loved fashion my whole life long. I’ve also wanted to work in fashion for the longest time (since I was a kid). I strongly believe that having a style/fashion blog will be an asset to my fashion career in the future. And finally, I want to have fun and follow my passion.

And that is that my friends. I hope you enjoyed this post. Thank you so much for reading! Let’s blog our hearts out this year!!
