Sophisticated Summer Inspiration
Hey!
Today I wanted to share some classic summer styles to keep you inspired to be as chic as possible this summer. I recently went to a hotel for a weekend stay and saw all these ladies that just looked really classy in their swimwear and big floppy hats. I always feel a bit out of place as I’m not always sure how to style myself by the beach. I usually go for a pair of denim shorts and a tank top, or a patterned playsuit over my bikini. I’m not all that creative when it comes to beach dressing for some reason. I had a straw hat for like two minutes before it disappeared from my sight a few years ago. Therefore, this post is to inspire you the reader but also myself, to take more risks and take notes from some of the world’s classic fashion icons.
I hope this helps! A lot of these are Jackie Kennedy, who is such a fashion icon and who seemed to look flawless when on holiday. And I added Diana and Grace because we all love a Princess on holiday!

Happy 85th Birthday Audrey Hepburn
Happy Birthday to a Hollywood star, a style icon, a humanitarian, a mother, an actress and a beautiful soul.
She lived an amazing life and made such a huge impact on the world of acting and fashion during her time on earth.
Today in celebration, I will be watching Sabrina one of my favourite Audrey Hepburn movies.
RIP and Happy Birthday
with love,
Vuyi
Thinking like Audrey
Audrey Hepburn once said: “I have to be alone very often. I’d be quite happy if I spent from Saturday night until Monday morning alone in my apartment. That’s how I refuel.”
Glad to know someone like Audrey felt the same way I do. I think it’s good to learn how to be alone and I think it’s important to know that not all people are extroverts who just love being out with people at parties all the time. It’s ok to like being at home, as long as you also remember to spend time with the people you love, there’s not much else that matters. you don’t need to impress everybody. Be true to yourself.
Thank you for that lesson Audrey.
