Hello! Last week I had the pleasure of seeing The Fault in Our Stars at the cinema with my sister and her friend. I have been looking forward to this movie since I read the book in December of last year. The movie was absolutely EVERYTHING that I thought it would be. John Green must be so proud that it translated so well into a movie. I loved absolutely everyone that acted in it as well, they had great comedic timing and amazing emotional responses to the situation their characters were in (completely believable). Shailene Woodley was stunning, strong and vulnerable all at the same time. Ansel Elgort suited the role of Augustus so well and I must admit I fell quite in love with him! The movie was very emotional though, and so beautiful, of course I cried.I think the whole cinema was crying at some point! But it ended perfectly, therefore you can’t be sad when you walk out of the cinema. If you don’t know the story or haven’t read the book, it is about two teenagers who become best friends, after going to the same cancer support group. They eventually fall in love, however, it’s not your typical romance or cancer movie. It’s simply the most beautiful and meaningful novel I’ve ever read and it’s an absolutely amazing movie. I’m probably going to be talking about this when I’m about 80 haha! You absolutely have to watch this.
Here’s a video of my reaction:
Thank you for reading!
I hope you read the book/watch the movie soon!
