Beauty inspiration

Hey lovelies!
This is a photo of Keisha Lall, a model and friend to artist/blogger Garance Dore and Youtuber Lilly Pebbles. She’s so stunning, pictured here with barely any make up on, she makes me want to up the ante with my skincare routine. She says that her mother is a facialist and it clearly shows with her beautiful, flawless complexion and glowing skin.

Definitely a model to be on the look out for. She’s going places 🙂

Also a reminder to get my eyebrows threaded. Where’s the closest day spa?

Stop!

Stop!

Heyy!
Lately I have had some changes taking place in my life and I have had to decide to face my fears in order to do what needs doing. There are times in your life when the excuses need to stop and you need to take responsibility for your life. Suffering can make you aware of things that you don’t like about yourself or things that are horribly wrong in your life. But the awareness of this will not produce any lasting change. You need to act. And sometimes acting hurts and is scary but it is ultimately freeing. Today for me, I need to stop letting the fear of making a mistake prevent me from doing something and achieving my goals.
Please do not make the same mistake that I did for years and live a passive life. Stop reading and start doing! Happiness is just around the corner, if you choose to walk to that corner.

What changes do you want to make in your life?

Love,
Vuyi

Be Yourself

Be Yourself

“Always be yourself, unless you can be a unicorn, then always be a unicorn.” -anon

I’ve been feeling quite strange lately, like I want to change some big things in my life, but I’m afraid of making these changes. I’m afraid of what people will think of me. And sometimes I feel quite out of place because I like things that not everyone likes. But I think the biggest decision I can make is to just be myself, make the changes I want for myself and just be who I am. Because: the ones who care don’t matter and the ones who matter don’t care.

Just relax, do what you’re doing and just be yourself! However, weird and wonderful that is!
